Aloha and welcome to Slow Food on Campus @Kapi'olani Community College!
Located in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, Slow Food @ KCC serves Hawaii as the only officially recognized Slow Food on Campus chapter in the State and is open to all students, faculty and staff in the UH system. Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world. Today, we have over 200,000 members globally!
